Yesterday

Studying at serene centre! Gina, chanki, jamie and val came. Didn't see val for so long! Even though she tried to take a picture of me doing the shakira/beyonce mtv. Ginko dropped by, hilarious man her hair wasn't combed properly and she only came to just chat with us. Haha. Well it was not bad prodcutive! :D WHICH IS AWWW-SUM SINCE I HAVENT HAD ANY PRODUCTIVE DAYS RECENTLY. And it was good fun studying like this again : )

Just got back from Rock AC :D It was madness can, too many bands performing but they were all reaaaally good : ) Before that I went to Holland V with joyce, prilaa and cheryl to study! Today was quite exciting. Council results were out and I'm sooo happy for those that made it in!! In fact I was screaming to the point that one of the councillors that got in was like "youre a bit the excited ah". TELL ME ABOUT ITTTTTT.

I'm starting to regret a lot of things now, chances that I should have taken. But as always, fear meets me at a very clear point of being conscious of whether what we're doing is right. I still have not adapted to the irrationality of things, somehow there's always a lingering speck of worry at the back of my mind. I suppose it's always been there.

As you can see, I have not striked out anything from my list. I am going to decimate myself by submerging all of me into all of homework + studying.

I'm always thankful for being surrounded in a Christian environment all these years. Despite the permanence of fol words still flying about and actions that misrepresent, it's still very nice to have devotions and miniworships 3 times a week. I think what all of us can't deny, is that sometimes we can't do things by ourselves. Someone Divine is always needed in everything we do. Unless you're perfect.

I'm still thinking of going back to diaryland when it works actually, though lj is vv userfriendly. Not having a tagboard is just rather saddening ):

Days have been spent sleeping. Sleeping at 7-8 then waking up at the most ungodly hour in a scramble to finish whatever's needed. The problem with jc is that when you start to ignore homework, more of it just piles onto you. I really thank God my class makes school so much better, really don't know what would happen if they weren't there.

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Or as Miss Ho says, "the wrong bed". Didn't do anything last night (haha so I didn't complete chinese) and watched Seinfeld + That 70's Show! ANYWAY the thesis statement here is that I AM UNPRODUCTIVE & I had a bad start to the day.

I MEAN, WHAT KIND OF MOOD WOULD YOU HAVE WHEN YOUR TIMETABLE IS LIKE THIS???!!!!!

1) 1hour20mins worth of The Most Boring Chinese Lesson ever.

It was so boring I could cry. I actually wanted to escape it, walking in another direction when everyone went to room 4.09. But Gina just had to catch me!!! I could have been, um, sleeping in the library can!! Heehee and most of the time I spent trying to disturb felicia.

2) 40 minutes worth of pe which I cannot attend cos I'm still coughing.

This probably even worse. I hate telling the teacher I can't go cos she's just sooooo nice. I bet she hates me now ): BUT WE LOVE YOU !!!!! THE MOST ~~RELAXED~~ BEST UNDERSTANDING PE TEACHER!!

3) Economics Lecture

Oh this one was the worst. Gina and I were about dozing off but we couldn't or Mr Lim would definitely assisnate us later should we fall asleep. The whole time I was craving for sengbuay. Chanki was alert as a bird. (got this kind of phrase anot??)

4) Math tutorial + sengbuay = I WAS AWAKE.

Then sleeping in the library for 15minutes = SUPER DROWSY.
And I've rekindled my hate for idiotic guys that just sleep on the whole couch. WANT TO SLEEP AT LEAST LEAVE SOME SPACE FOR US LA !!!!! Wah piang eh.

5) Lit tutorial

Oh my goodness. I just woke up and you want me to write a 3 page essay on boys wearing "summer blouses" in the class. I ended up churning out what I do best; crapping :D

6) Chemistry tutorial

Half the time I didn't understand what the teacher was talking about cos he was short-tongued. I definitely do not hate people that have this inability, but it was just SO HARD, to listen to him. And the whole time I was looking at my 'ideal husband'. Holy, sporty, smart and coolio surname.WHAT MORE COULD I WANT ??? I really detest my surname even if its unique. People keep calling me 'ah hew' or 'you're like hueeee???'.

The only thing that I was looking forward today was meeting Ed :D Haven't seen her for AGESS. Met her at Plaza Sing, Starbucks. (after a very traumatising period of finding the right mrt station, this all thanks to prilaa! ) It's really eating up my money. 9 bucks for a bitter hot chocolate and 2 slim biscottis. No wonder they're called starBUCKS la, eat all my money.

Haha Ed was a homeless kid. No tie, zi dian and olevel cert in her bag, super funny. And her black actually managed to turn black!! I manage to complete chinese at a productive rate, haha. Uh, but I still got one more lianxi to do. And GP questions. And studying for the tests next week. Die.

It all won't be this hard, if we all weren't this apart.

Latest Update on Yearbook

So my dad called up today, the school that is and spoke to haha one of the teachers in charge of the yearbook. Basically she said sorry, and the pages will be reprinted and 'inserted'. By 'inserted' I believe it means that they'll just insert our 2 pages of the class thingy : / I suppose that should be good enough, I mean they've printed out everything already, even the batch for us secfours 06. I just hope the paper quality is the same paper in the yearbook.

More than that, I guess it's a human error. Don't know if it's the printing company or the teachers, but in any case if the teacher did create the error, making her pay about $2400 more is rather, like jackass la. I shall leave the matter to rest. Yeahhhhh.

School today was quite fun :D Despite a completely blocked up nose, SUPER HUMID WEATHER and a ticklish throat. Council elections were super funny, HAHAHHA THE GUYS WERE DAMN FUNNY LA. And chapel makes my morning as always : ) And I was cheering for all the announcements? I think the class in front of me are ready to murder me anytime la. Haw haw, no more tests for this week. But I've to study for the 3 tests next week :((( WEI SHEN ME MEI YOU REN YAO PEI WO QU ORCHARD???!!! D:

Like I'm finally free but nobody wants to go can.

Today mainly consists of:

1. Going to the doctor. He gave me some super strong medicine until I'm much better now. And a week mc from pe (much needed NOT PONNING OK). I nearly died when the doctor questioned "do you want to be exempted from the fitness test?" and my mom just had to spring in going "oh nooo i don't think so I think she wants to do it".

This is just the kind of LUCK I have I tell you. I mean I never train for 2.4 for what, 2 whole weeks??! Going straight into it the next week is physical suicide I tell you. What's more my doctor was in a super bad mood. This can be seen from my mc, he actually impatiently ripped it from the machine so now it's torn. Hahhahaha.

2. Missing church. Due to doctor + drowsiness of medicine + I really shouldn't go if I want to go to school tmr. BUT YES I ALSO WANT TO GO TO CHURCH :( I guess the only way in helping this is to listen to Hillsongs later.

3. The Death List

~~a) 3 lit worksheets each on poems~~
b) Read at least 1 hour worth of GP Package
c) ~~Get a darn news article!~~ (what on earth are we suppose to do for the research book ah? Do we write our reflections crap and all that?)
d) read 2 more chapters of great expectations
e) ~~chinese compo~~
f) math tuition work
g) STUDY FOR ECONS (only did for one set of notes. the other one not even through yet la)

4. This coming week is rather slack. But the next week is complete barracuda on us I tell you. 3 tests and physical fitness test. All this and I have to cope with guitar too. AND PW. Like, omggg. Haha we're supose to be editing our gpp like now but joshua still hasn't sent me yet, prilaa is out and ianthe's internet is dying on her. Um, at least we're editing only? Hahaha.

5. I've been quite used to having friends leave me over the years. This year I'm sure we've all had it for the worst. Thank God Prilaa and chanki are in ac. Trying to keep in contact with millia is already hard enough, I'm thankful for the weekly smses. But I can't do that for everyone whom I'm separated from, and the idea of losing contact with these friends horrify me. I'm really sorry when time is not on my side, and I'm just so incacipated (sp?) to respond back to anyone out there. It really scares me to know that peopl whom I've known for more than half a decade could just slip out of my fingers so easily. So, easily.

My throat is so sore now I feel like someone slipped a knife down my throat. This is what happens when you go to school and you can't just help but talk. Nyehhh. What I really just want to say for now.

1. Caught Spidey. Worth watching, thrilling, but all the same - lame, ridiculous and draggy. Haha yeah.

HAVE I MENTIONED THAT JAMES FRANCO IS ABSOLUTE HOTNESS?????!!!!

I mean, just look at him!!! He's like so bulky he's bursting out of his suit man. Ok exaggeration he's just stretching. At least he doesn't look at toot as Maguire or like some statue such as Sam Raimi.

2. I've got funny friends. If I remember correctly, these are the incidents.

Prilaa : Got a spectacles mostly cos of the word "POLICE" printed on the side of it. Didn't wear it today cos it was too heavy. On tuesday, we stood near the table at the bleachers and a leaf fell and slapped her knee. Literally a 'PIAK' sound followed by prilaa moaning in pain.

Chanki:

So chanki was at the food court right, after project work. The table wasn't clean, so obviously the natural thing to do was to call the cleaner! So she did.

Chanki waved at her, and in all her chanki-ness asked the malay auntie "can you clean the table please? thanks"

Normally they'd just throw their cloth on the table and hap-hazardly clean it. BUT THIS AUNTIE, LIFTED UP HER BUCKET, WAS GOING TO WITH ALL HER MIGHT HIT CHANKI'S HEAD AS SHE WENT "EEEERETATING. (IRRITATING)"

Thank God chanki ducked or she wouldn't even have told me this story. I think this is the 2nd incident she's had with cleaners. Another is this other cleaner in pj who just won't stop staring at them while they've eaten. I think I laughed for a good 5 minutes at her story man.

Ianthe: She brought used this old bagpack for the first time, it broke. The second bag she brought, it broke again. Now we all know what to get for Ianthe for her birthday.

3. Before going for the treat guitar coach was giving us...

shahrul: you're sick ah?
me: ya. I'm dying. I got cancer.
shahrul: Hahahahha
me: (still gives this serious blank look)
shahrul: (squats down and stares suddenly very concerned) huh, serious ah??!

HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA. Ok it was funny to me.

4. The time has come to choose the guitar comm. I think I shall just run for anything except president. Haha not that I'll be chosen la of course, president is seriously siao for guitar. This decision mostly makes me question; should I just take risks? I still remember during one of our GP lessons, the thing about risk-taking. So what if I just make this irrational decision? What if I put all my cares about studies, sacrifices away, and just maybe reach out to what might just be the best for me? Prezzzzzzz ? (I don't think I'll get it but it's just a thought. There are other people that are much better than me : )

I hate such decisions. Missing out on council just makes me rethink everything now.

thanks so much guys, for all your comments that it's not my fault and just really understanding this. I hope you guys forgive whoever that has done this ok. I still want an apology but I've decided to just forgive. thank you to everyone out there who have shown their concern and took efforts to make me feel better :) everyone who commented and also hahaha elyssa (who sent me a very emo sms hahaha).

You guys seriously mean the world to me. Just so touched yesterday by this and other stuff that I started tearing! I really don't know what to do without you guys you know. Haha die la. Ok I AM KIDDING MY COUGH IS ALR KILLING ME LA. love you all! :D

Ok I'm seriously coughing like I'm gna cough blood anymoment. My right eye is totally red from vicks vapour going into my eye. This is about one of the worst feelings one can get.

I am really pissed now. I've actually simmered down pretty much from what I was when I first received the news, I was so angry I think I could have seriously indented something. That's despite the fact that I am usually someone who'd probably yell in pain before indenting any object but yes.

So what really happened? Well here goes.

My sister comes back home from school while I'm eating my porridge, and she comes up to me and goes "Your class page isn't in the book."

"What? What class page?"

"You know the class page? Everyone's class is inside except yours yo.."

"OH MY GOSH. THE CLASS PAGE." (runs over and flips open the magazine)
